Principle of action
Ulthera Ultrasonic Lift's focused ultrasound waves enable the energy to be applied directly to the SMAS fascia layer without damaging the skin's surface, and provide a long-lasting lifting and firming effect on the face after the treatment.
- Utilizing focused ultrasound waves to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin (SMAS fascia layer), each thermal coagulation point reaches a temperature of 65°C or higher, forming individual coagulation points.
- After the treatment, separate coagulation points are created at the depth (3.0mm, 4.5mm) to shrink the tissues and awaken the collagen effect.
- After the treatment, the SMAS fascia layer regains its youthful firmness, improves the support and has a good firming and lifting effect.
subcutaneous fascia
SMAS is the key to lifting.
Ulthera Ultrasonic Lift produces about 8,000~10,000 individual condensation points at two depths after the treatment to shrink the tissues and revitalize the collagen action.
The Ulthera Ultrasound Lift screen features real-time facial imaging, which allows the practitioner to divide the planning area of the face into 20 treatment zones according to the built-in patented facial map, and distribute the number of treatment lines evenly so that the energy is precisely distributed to the areas that need to be lifted.
Full Face Lift
After the treatment, the SMAS fascia layer regains its youthful firmness, improves the support and has a good firming and lifting effect.

Q & A
Most of the facial nerves are relatively deep, so there is no need to worry too much about adverse damage to them. There are only two parts of the face that require special attention during treatment: the chin border nerve and the periorbital area. The Ulthera Sonic Lift treatment guidelines have detailed instructions on how to treat the nerves, and there have not been any cases of serious nerve damage in the clinic so far.
The important blood vessels on the face are deeper than the depth of the treatment, so there is no need to worry about it. Ulthera ultrasonic lifting treatments where the microvasculature receives too much energy will only result in bruising or small blood spots on the skin, which will disappear automatically within a few days to weeks.
Ulthera Sonic Lift works directly on the fascia layer, which is precise and does not harm the epidermal skin. Usually, there is not too much heat residue, so you can have other laser treatments about one month after the procedure, but since everyone's physical condition is different, it is recommended to discuss it with your doctor.
After Ulthera Sonic Lift treatment, there may be slight redness, edema, small tingling for a few hours, a feeling of fragility in the skin for a few days, and very small "white dots" or lines (redness) of energy in some areas of the treated area, but these are usually mild and temporary and can be alleviated by moderate cold and wet compresses. These are usually mild and temporary reactions that can be soothed by applying a moderate wet or cold compress.
The cost of Ulthera Sonic Lift treatments varies slightly depending on the depth of the treatment and the number of treatments required by the individual.
For those who have already experienced symptoms of facial aging and have not undergone any anti-aging treatments, it is professionally recommended that they can choose to undergo in-depth treatments in the first year (2 times a year), followed by annual maintenance and consolidation. However, as each person's physical condition is different, it is better to discuss with your doctor.
Pre- and Post-operative Precautions
- 01Inflammatory allergic reactions, open wounds, and severe acne should not be treated at this time.
- 02For those who have had filler injections in the face, it is recommended that they be performed three months after surgery.
- 03Treatment is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
- 04It is not recommended for patients with severe heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or advanced cancer.
- 01No special care is needed, just moisturize and protect against sunlight.
- 02Immediately after the operation, the skin was red and slightly swollen, and the client was told not to worry, and that the redness and swelling would subside in about 2 hours.
- 03There may also be tiny, slightly whitish, energy spot rashes on some of the treated areas, but these are usually normal, mild and temporary reactions.
- 04In rare cases, bruises or small blood spots may appear on the skin after surgery and disappear spontaneously within a few days. The reason for this is that too much energy is applied to the microvessels during the treatment. The depth of the important blood vessels on the face is also deeper than the depth of the treatment, so there is no need to worry.
- 05The interval between treatments with other devices is half a month.
